Anchqord Hope Community Development Corporation (CDC) is a dynamic and purpose-driven 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Atlanta, Georgia. We are passionate about empowering communities through a comprehensive suite of services that include nonprofit capacity building, small business solutions, entrepreneurial training, resident housing services, and community enrichment programs. Our commitment is to create lasting, positive change for individuals, families, and businesses across the state of Georgia.
Mission:
Our mission is to elevate the quality of life for Georgia families, with a special focus on empowering women-owned businesses and budding entrepreneurs. We believe that entrepreneurship is a key to unlocking personal and community potential. By fostering leadership and offering tools for success, we aim to build self-sustaining communities where generational wealth is created, and the ripple effect of prosperity can be felt for years to come. Gloria Toney-Fleets is the visionary Founder and President of Anchqord Hope Community Development Corporation (CDC), a distinguished 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in DeKalb County, Georgia. Anchqord Hope CDC was founded with a mission to empower communities through nonprofit capacity building, small business solutions, entrepreneurial training, and community enrichment programs. With a deep-rooted commitment to serving underrepresented and underserved communities, the organization aims to create lasting economic development, foster leadership, and build generational wealth.
At the core of Anchqord Hope’s operations are its values of honor, character, and compassion. These values shape not only the internal culture but also the way the organization engages with its clients, partners, and the community at large. Gloria’s leadership ensures that the organization’s mission and vision are deeply intertwined with its core beliefs, corporate standards, and policies, while always striving for nonprofit effectiveness. Her strategic vision is grounded in a firm belief that strong, realistic strategies must be employed to maximize the organization’s financial health, stability, and long-term sustainability.
Gloria is a dynamic and influential executive professional with nearly three decades of experience in nonprofit management, business development, and organizational leadership. Over her 29-year career, she has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to service, leveraging her vast knowledge and leadership skills to make a lasting impact in the nonprofit sector. Her approach to leadership is defined by resilience, creativity, and tenacity—qualities that have enabled her to successfully navigate the complexities of executive management and drive meaningful change within organizations.
In close partnership with the Board of Trustees, Gloria is instrumental in shaping Anchqord Hope CDC’s strategic direction. She leads efforts to establish both short- and long-term financial profitability goals that support the organization’s mission and objectives. Under her leadership, Anchqord Hope actively pursues innovative solutions that address community needs, formulating strategic partnerships with both public and private sector entities to advance its goals. Gloria is particularly focused on creating new business opportunities and fostering collaborations that drive economic growth and sustainability within the communities they serve.
